UPDATED CHAPTER DINNER MEETING PRICING 
As of February 2010, the San Jose Chapter dinner meeting pricing will be as follows:
    Current IAAP Members

    Meeting Only: FREE

    Meeting + Dinner: $25.00

    Guests or Non-IAAP Members

    Meeting Only: $5.00  (First TWO meetings 
    are FREE - after that, on the 3rd visit the $5 fee 
    will apply
    
Meeting + Dinner: $30.00


BAKE SALE - FEBRUARY 10, 2010
    The San Jose Chapter will hold a Bake Sale at our Chapter Meeting on February 10, 2010, just in time for Valentine’s Day!  Get your aprons ready!!  Bake & Bring!  If you would like to participate, please bring your wrapped baked goodies directly to the February meeting.  Remember:  No refrigeration is available and goodies must be able to sit out in the meeting room during the duration of our meeting.  Folks will be able to place their orders in the beginning and end of the chapter meeting.  Baker determines the cost of their goodies.  All monies will go right back into our chapter.  These yummy baked goods will be an excellent gift, or keep it for yourself.


CONTEST - NAME THE NEWSLETTER
    The San Jose Chapter is bringing back the Newsletter!  We would like your help in coming up with a new name for it.  Please submit your newsletter name ideas to Kristie Mitchell ASAP.  The winner will get a prize.

SAN JOSE CHAPTER COOKBOOK
    The Ways & Means Committee would like to announce the comeback of our CHAPTER COOKBOOK!  The cookbook is currently in production and will be ready for at our APW event in April!  If you have inquiries regarding the cookbook, please contact Jeana Soden - jesoden@cisco.com or Kristie Mitchell - kristie_mitchell@hotmail.com.  The cookbooks will sell for $10.00 with all monies going right back into the chapter!

E-Waste Recycling Fundraiser
The Ways & Means Committee is busy planning an e-Waste Recycling Fundraiser in May.  This is your chance to start collecting all your electronic waste!  E-Waste is defined as all obsolete or outdated computers, TV’s, scanners, cell phones, printers, PDA’s, etc.  Check with your offices, your homes, your neighbors, your schools and save them for this event.  More details are coming soon.

TOPIC
Do you understand what CPS/CAP
means and its potential impact on you and your career?  If not, this is a meeting you don’t want to miss.  San Jose Chapter’s own Education Committee and seasoned instructors Linda McCabe and Bobbi Dolan will conduct a special presentation explaining what CPS/CSP certification stands for, what it means to you and how it might affect your career. 

Back by popular demand, the San Jose Chapter
Bake Sale returns this month!  Contribute your special recipe or pick up your favorite sweet, wrap it and label it with what it is and your pricing.  Remember we do not have any refrigeration.  Then, buy whatever looks good to share around Valentine’s Day and help build badly needed funds for the chapter coffers.  Want more information about the bake sale? Please note the Board is now implementing the new monthly meeting/dinner costs for guests.  Check for the specifics under Chapter News on this site.

RSVP deadline is Sunday, February 7 at 6:00pm.  When you RSVP, be sure to note your meal choice or meeting only.  If you will be inviting a guest, be sure to include your guest's name.  Dinner is not available for purchase at the door on the night of the meeting.
